The Faculty Library
The Faculty Library, a part of the University's Main Library, holds a collection necessary for research in political science and the implementation of course programmes in political science and international relations (with specializations in journalism, local government and policies, and socialand political systems). The collection comprises books (9250 volumes) and periodical publications (79 subscriptions of periodicals, including six foreign).
Detailed information about the holdings can be obtained from the alphabetical and classified catalogues of book publications and the alphabetical catalogue of periodicals.
The library's reference section contains reference publications, encyclopaedias, dictionaries and lexicons, and the Polish Press Agency bulletins.
The collections are made available to the University staff and students in the reading room and to the Faculty's academic staff and students also through the lending service. The reading room seats thirty-two. Its computers are linked to the University's Main Library catalogue and to other departmental libraries integrated in the VTLS system and to the internet system..
